Q: Does Asia’s Little Ones offer child sponsorships?
A: Due to governmental restrictions in some countries and difficult logistical issues, Asia’s Little Ones has chosen to work with projects that help groups of children rather than solicit individual child sponsorships. This has allowed ALO to reach out to thousands of children that could not have been helped through individual sponsorship programs.

Q: Does Asia’s Little Ones facilitate adoptions?
A: Asia’s Little Ones is not an adoption agency and cannot facilitate adoptions. The compassion projects ALO assists provide help for needy children in their native countries.

Q: Are my gifts to Asia’s Little Ones tax deductible?
A: Yes. All gifts to Asia’s Little Ones are tax deductible as allowed by law. ALO is a subordinate of the Assemblies of God, which is a 501 (C) 3 nonprofit organization. After a donation is received, a tax-deductible receipt is mailed to the contributor.

Q: Can I give properties or other personal assets to Asia’s Little Ones rather than or in addition to cash gifts?
A: Yes. You can set up such gifts through your own investment or accounting firm, or the Assemblies of God Foundation can assist you. You also can set up a deferred giving plan or trust that will allow you to give to Asia’s Little Ones in the future.

Q: How much of my donation actually benefits the children?
A: Ninety-five percent of all designated funds are sent to compassion projects that benefit the children. Our operational costs, which amount to less than 20 percent of our income, are paid out of funds raised for operational expenses and from undesignated funds. ALO administers every dollar received with the highest degree of integrity and stewardship. If you would like more information regarding Asia’s Little Ones’ finances, please contact us.

Q: Will contributions designated for a specific project or country ever be used for some other need?
A: Asia’s Little Ones strives to honor the interest of the contributor and only uses designated funds as specified by the donor.
