In the Same Way, Shine!

“In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” —Matthew 5:16 NLT

Today you may find yourself in your own dark place—financially, physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. We can’t always control our circumstances. But we can control how we respond. We can succumb to the darkness and give in to despair and hopelessness. Or we can shine a light for others.

When we choose to bless others with whatever it is God has given us, the light we shine for others can’t help but flood our own hearts with light, hope, and joy. No darkness can overpower a light such as this.

Can you hear the cries of hunger, fear, and poverty from the darkness of places like Fiji, Indonesia, and the Philippines? Children and families are crying out for the light to come.

They’re crying out to you:

  • Our hearts ache to hear the cries of mothers struggling to feed their little ones. We (Treasure House) do what we can.

  • Financial hardships have brought numerous requests to admit children into King’s Garden. We are forced to turn many away. We can only accept children in dangerous situations who need immediate shelter.

Will you push back the darkness—in Asia Pacific, as well as in your own life—by giving the light of hope and help to a child today?
