Who are we?

Asia's Little Ones is a Christian non-profit organization providing lifelines to orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children in Asia Pacific through homes, healthcare, education, and nutrition. ALO works to meet the physical and spiritual needs of at-risk children and has been helping transform hundreds of lives daily since 1990. ALO is a subordinate unit of the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

What do we believe?

ALO believes in the unlimited potential of every child and that each one deserves the opportunity to belong, to have access to medical care, to learn, to eat healthy, and to know Jesus — so that they can grow into who they were created to become. Every project ALO supports takes a wholistic approach to children's physical and spiritual needs.

What makes us different?

Sharing God's love and message of hope is a key component of every project ALO is involved with.

ALO stewards your contribution wisely with 95% of the designated gift going directly toward meeting the needs of orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children in Asia Pacific.

Where do we serve?

ALO currently works with projects in Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

More FAQs

Can I sponsor a child through Asia’s Little Ones?

No. Due to difficult logistical issues and government restrictions in some countries, Asia’s Little Ones has chosen to work with projects that help groups of children rather than soliciting individual child sponsorships. This allows ALO to reach out to thousands of children who could not have been helped through individual sponsorship programs.

Does Asia’s Little Ones facilitate adoptions?

No. Asia’s Little Ones is not an adoption agency and cannot facilitate adoptions. The compassion projects ALO assists provide help for at-risk children in their home countries.

Are my gifts to Asia’s Little Ones tax deductible?

Yes. All gifts to Asia’s Little Ones are tax deductible as allowed by law. ALO is a subordinate unit of the General Council of the Assemblies of God, which is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization. After your donation is received and processed a tax-deductible contribution receipt, from the General Council of the Assemblies of God, will be mailed to you.

Can I give property or other personal assets to Asia’s Little Ones?

Yes. You can set up such gifts through your own investment or accounting firm, or the Assemblies of God Financial Solutions can assist you. You also can set up a deferred giving plan or trust that will allow you to give to Asia’s Little Ones in the future.

How much of my donation actually benefits the children?

Ninety-five percent of all money you designate for a specific purpose or ministry is sent to the compassion projects that benefit the children. Our operational costs are paid out of funds raised for operational expenses and from undesignated funds. Asia’s Little Ones administers every dollar received with the highest degree of integrity and stewardship. If you would like more information regarding Asia’s Little Ones’ finances, please contact us.

Are contributions designated for a specific project or country ever used for another need?

Asia’s Little Ones strives to honor the interest of the contributor and only uses designated funds as specified by the donor.
