Mission:
To plant schools for the purposes of evangelizing, discipling, and meeting felt needs for education. To provide biblically based curriculum, teacher training, and equipment for schools launched in hard-to-reach villages and remote islands.
Hope Pacific Mission has been hard at work bringing education to villages in Vanuatu that previously had no school. They have launched 17 successful schools, reaching 450 students in remote places with little to no electricity or access to the internet. This year, they would like to provide each school with updated books and curriculum.
Target for 2026: $20,000
Breakdown: 3 concrete floors for new schools × $4,000 each = $12,000
$1,000 per solar system × 6 schools = $6,000
$2,000 for desks and chairs
Additional Details: In 2023–2024, Hope Pacific Mission started six new schools on an island with almost no access to education. Part of this year’s goal is to provide solar power systems for the schools to enable the use of technology in teaching. There is no other source of electricity in these remote areas.
