TICA Outreach Camp
Japan
Mission:
To share the gospel with kids through camps, special events, and weekly preschool play group
The Tsukuba International Christian Assembly (TICA) Church in Japan hosts kids’ outreach programs all year round. It is connecting with ever-increasing numbers of Japanese families and sharing the gospel with kids through camps, special events, and a weekly preschool. However, they have a vision to do even more. They want to equip the ministry with an interactive puppet stage, indoor play equipment, a rock-climbing wall, and comfortable furniture.
Target for 2025: $4,000
Breakdown: $2,000 for Bibles and Bible-story books
$2,000 for camp decorations, supplies, and children’s ministry supplies
Additional Details: After handing out Bible-story books on the first day of English camp, one family reported they had spent the whole afternoon reading all the stories together. This year, by popular demand, TICA will launch their first youth camp.
Pray:
Pray for more seeds of the gospel, hope, and love to be planted in Japan. In a culture that is stressed to the maximum with the pressures of work and study, pray that TICA can provide a place for families and children to play together and pray together.
