Ministry Helps Seven New Girls Transition
Philippines | Seven young girls rescued from abusive and exploitive circumstances years earlier are excited to have help transitioning to a productive and happy new life. It was time for them to “age out” of the restorative program at Happy Horizons Children’s Ranch (HHCR). But transitioning to adult life can be complicated, even in the best of circumstances. As young children, many of these girls had seen only dysfunctional examples of adult living.
Happy Home is a transitional place where rescued girls on track to independent living find help. Some girls are finishing high school. Others are starting college or vocational training. Just as important, Happy Home helps them integrate into the local community and church among supportive Christians.
