Brave Girl Strikes Out, Leaves Fellow Orphans a Gift
NIAS, INDONESIA | Although Niat came to the Eben Haezer orphanage with nothing, that’s not how she left. Her time there equipped the bright girl to continue her education in Jogjakarta, an Indonesian city known for its fine arts and fine schools. This was made possible by people who believed in her future and gave sacrificially to make it happen. After graduating, Niat returned to Eben Haezer with gifts for everyone before starting her exciting new career in Singapore. Each child was delighted to receive a bright red Jogjakarta T-shirt from their “big sister.” But no one was as excited as Niat to be able to give.
